Whether you would like to know more about your pet or you work with dogs; the Dog care course is an excellent training guide for how to look after your dog and their health requirements.

The course is self-paced and an excellent foundation for further studies afterwards, such as the Dog Psychology and Training or Animal Behaviour courses we offer.

Aims - the learning objectives of the course: 
  • Describe the health requirements for your dog including nutrition, exercise and hygiene.
  • Explain the anatomical structure of the dog.
  • Understand the common health problems in dogs and their treatments.
  • Identify the dog breeds available.
  • Explain the breeding process.
  • Be able to provide practical training for your dog.
  • Explain the importance of dog grooming.
  • Determine other requirements for your dog including professional dog handling services and day care services.
