The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the nationally accredited course for students who would like to provide training and assessing to people in the workplace or in a training and educational environment.

Throughout the course you will develop the skills required to develop training programs, deliver mentoring to students and assess them as they move through their course.

 If you have qualifications in an industry and wish to pass on your knowledge to new students, the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment can help you achieve this.

Entry requirements: 

  • All students must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course.
  • Access to a workplace or simulated workplace to conduct assessments.
  • Access to a video camera for recording assessments.
  • Access to a small group you can deliver trial training and assessments to.
