Do you want to become a registered Counsellor?
The diploma in Counselling is an excellent qualification to practice as a registered counsellor. This Nationally recognised qualification will qualify you to set up your own counselling consultancy. The course is done entirely online. So study while you work or from anywhere to enter into your new career.
The course will involve practical tasks which include:
1. Third party reports: This means the student will have to find a counsellor/counselling organisation /counselling teacher who will be able to fill a third party report on observations of specific tasks done by the student. this report will be provided to the student to give to their third party supervisor for completion.
2. Role play observation: the student will have to submit a role play of a task conducted by them as a video to their trainer. Workshops with a trainer in Brisbane are also available for 2 weekends twice a year. This is for students who are unable to find a person to do the third party reports for them or anyone who would like to attend a workshop to fulfil the practical components of the course. So while this course can still be done fully online students should be prepared to find a suitable person to fill in their third party reports OR be prepared to attend the workshops for the completion of the qualification.
