"Being able to do my studies at the pace I want to has also meant that I am able to take extra time to get a better understanding of the concepts of the course"

I have found that studying with Courses Direct gives me the flexibility to complete my course whenever I want to. There is no pressure of deadlines which gives me more time to put into researching for my assignments.

As I suffer from anxiety and depression being able to do my studies at the pace I want to has also meant that I am able to take extra time to get a better understanding of the concepts of the course. It has allowed me to realise that my long term goal is to help people in a similar position to myself and I would like to eventually become a teacher’s aide.

Nothing would be more rewarding than to provide a person with a disability hope and a way out of the difficulties that they face.

"The course has provided me with experience and the chance for the course to provide a higher understanding of the nutritional requirements for children"

I was looking for a course that allowed me to brush up on my professional skills in nutrition. When I found the Courses Direct Children’s Nutrition course, I was after experience and the chance for the course to provide a higher understanding of the nutritional requirements for children in all stages of childhood. The course has provided me with this and a firm foundation for further studies. I would recommend this course to everyone who has an interest in nutrition.

"I realized that courses direct was the best option. The distance fashion and dressmaking course allows someone like myself, with no existing experience or knowledge of fashion design, the opportunity to explore the fashion industry".

"I always enjoyed fashion but never pursued it in my studies or career. I'm in a stage of my life that I would like to start preparing to go back into the work place. I wanted to study fashion design and dressmaking and still be in my own environment and study at my own pace. After some research on the internet, I realized that courses direct was the best option. The distance fashion and dressmaking course allows someone like myself, with no existing experience or knowledge of fashion design, the opportunity to explore the fashion industry.

This course has been great. The tutors are an email away if I need their help, and I can take my time to finish the assignment to my very best ability. I have learned a lot of advanced sewing techniques and I have learned how to create a design and how to present my ideas to others.

I feel very confident now to keep pursuing my fashion design dreams".

"Courses Direct gives me the flexibility to be able to hold down a full time job and still be able to study at my own pace. I never feel alone and the support from student services and the tutors is fantastic".

"I first became interested in nutrition a couple of years ago when my husband Dave and I started training together. We both realised that we weighed the heaviest we have ever been and it was time to make a drastic change. Through regular exercise and eating cleanly I managed to lose 17 KG and drop 4 dress sizes.

It was at this time that I became really interested in food and nutrition, and realised that I had a passion for nutrition. My ultimate goal is to become a nutritionist and pass on my knowledge to the community.  I am not in a position to be able to study full time and this is one of the many reasons why I chose to study with Courses Direct. Courses Direct gives me the flexibility to be able to hold down a full time job and still be able to study at my own pace. I never feel alone and the support from student services and the tutors is fantastic.

I would highly recommend Courses Direct to anyone who wants to further their education".

"Studying through Courses Direct was a great decision because of my busy schedule with work and university. The lessons are very clear and the teachers are quite helpful"

"My name is Kimmy Jennings and I’m from the beautiful, sunny city of Townsville, North Queensland.

At the moment I’m studying Earth Sciences through Courses Direct so I can gain an understanding of how Earth’s systems work before I enrol into a Bachelor of Geology at James Cook University. Studying through Courses Direct was a great decision because of my busy schedule with work and university.  The lessons are very clear and the teachers are quite helpful when you may need some help understanding a certain aspect.

Study hard and enjoy what the future may bring!"

"I have a wonderful tutor who keeps regularly in touch and responds positively to all my random questions. I have already started to think about what course I want to do next".

"I have a lot to do with adolescents and their learning.  It was for this reason I decided to find a suitable course that helped me to understand their thinking.  The world is changing and it is important to recognise that thinking methods need to be up to date to assist students to get their best outcomes. I wanted to understand more about what makes teenagers tick. Yes – and that’s by choice!

However with a full life, I needed a course that was effective, time-friendly and manageable. This is why I went with Courses Direct. I have been impressed. It is thorough, thought provoking and has directed me via the assignments towards areas I had not considered".

“The structured study material helped me realise my goal and tapped into my potential".

"Nursing is my first love, but it is not as easy or diverse in India as what it is in many developed countries. I decided to undertake studies that would help me pursue diversity and change in nursing for people in India. The material provided in the Industrial Psychology course was just what I was looking for. The material was comprehensive in content and extremely relevant. The structured study material helped me realise my goal and tapped into my potential.

It has indeed been an enriching experience, which I will utilise to the fullest when I return home to India. What was commendable was the excellent support and rapport with my tutor Susan Dennis”.
